A Little About Us: We are a moms (and a dad) of all ages who love trying new products and giving our honest opinions as well as sharing bits of our everyday lives. We range in age from 30 to 70 and have eight children between us – ages 4 through 55. Connie, Steve, Alex, La, and Marge live near Seattle, WA. Nicole lives on Long Island, New York, and Charli is located in the UK.
About Connie & Steve
Connie is a 50 year old mom of two adult boys and has been married to her hubby, Steve, since 1983. Steve is a Lieutenant with a fire district south of Seattle where he has over 30-years of service and he owns his own construction business where he works with his brother. Steve and Connie’s oldest son works for Alaska Airlines as a Customer Service agent and travels the world. Their youngest son graduated from college in December 2010 with a degree in Natural Resources. He’s a certified diver, fences, and is an avid skier and professional job seeker. 
Connie spends her days taking care of her three dogs, managing an online princess store, and discovering new and fun products, services, and websites to share. She’s done product and website reviews since 2002 and is one of the top 100 Most Read Authors at Epinions.com. She also loves to dabble in sewing, painting, do-it-yourself home remodeling, and cooking. She’s a vegetarian who eats mostly organic, but cooks and freezes (OAMC) meat and potatoes for her hubby. She’s rediscovering her love of baking and has become addicted to homemade bread and rolls. She’s a Disney fan and worked at a local Disney Store for five years while working full-time as a webmaster for a local city. Her 5-years with Disney resulted in many trips to Disneyland, Disney World, and the most amazing Disney Cruise.
Steve works on the lawn and garden and keeps up on the general upkeep of their 1970′s starter home. His hobby is wildland fire fighting and reading and he’s been doing our “man” reviews including power tools and lawn and garden products for a few years, but he’s just started posting under his own name recently. Alex is a 24-year old recent college graduate looking for a job in his chosen field. In the interim, he’s reviewing the things he’s passionate about – movies, music, astronomy, and video games. About Nicole
Nicole is a tattooed, 30-something year old, New York mom of one sweet and sassy little girl named Angelina. She’s a stay-at-home mom who enjoys day trips and outings to parks, farms, petting zoos and all the places that come with raising a healthy and happy toddler. Nicole is married to a sweet and kind man who loves to hang out with his girls.
Nicole has blogged for several mom sites, but is concentrating on her new blog,Urban in Suburban, a tale of how this New York City girl is going to survive her move to the suburbs. Nicole shares with us the fun, joy, and trials of being a stay-a-home and of dealing with a toddler….always with a lot of humor and a little bit of cheekiness. She’s also an amazing cook!

About Marge
Marge is the 70-something mom to five adult children, the youngest is over 40. She the grandmother of many, and great-grandmother to four. Marge lost her husband (Connie’s father) in 1988 and currently lives in a mother-in-law apartment with her middle daughter’s family and her dog Bella.
Marge is an accomplished sewer and quilter and helps Connie with her business. When she’s not out buying material to add to the enormous stash she already has, she’s hanging out with her tuba-playing grandson. She also packs, ships, cleans up, and helps with the year-end tax preparation for Connie’s business…Connie greatly appreciates her help!
Marge loves to travel and has gone on several cruises, including the Disney cruise, and many trips to Disneyland and Disney World. She’s also visited New York and Las Vegas.
Marge and Connie get together to do Investment Cooking (OAMC) occasionally, but it’s just as likely Marge will do the shopping and Connie the cooking. It’s a great way to save money and it’s fun cooking together. Marge and Connie don’t always agree on the ingredients (Connie is a vegetarian who likes mushrooms and Marge won’t touch them) but they’ve made some fantastic meals for the freezer. They’ll share many of their Once a Month Cooking recipes here with you.
