Posted by Connie - March 11, 2011 - Community Service

Japan's Devastation is so great they're accepting international assistance

In the US

“AmeriCares is ready to help and it’s your support that ensures we can respond immediately to the needs of survivors in Japan with lifesaving medicines and medical supplies.”

  • Donate online

Convoy of Hope

“Since Convoy of Hope, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1994 we have served more than 41 million people throughout the world through international children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, disaster response and partner resourcing.”

  • Donate online

Doctor’s Without Borders

“Following the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and resulting tsunamis that hit northeast Japan on Friday afternoon, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has two three-person teams attempting to get to the worst-hit areas in Iwate and Miyagi prefectures.”

Thank you. I hope that the links will be shared far and wide. I’ve made a donation, but I’m feeling compelled to give again. It’s just so sad the human toll this event has taken.

      ((HUGS)) to all affected
