Dog Quotes: Happiness is a Warm Puppy – Gracie’s Favorite Blanket
I’m sure this isn’t what Charles M Shulz had in mind when he uttered this now famous quote, but its the one that comes to mind when I see Gracie burrowed deep into her favorite blanket. It’s OUR blanket, but she claims it every time I put it on our bed.
You don’t see me!
I have to wonder if it reminds her of her mother or siblings. Gracie’s a Maltese and the blanket matches so perfectly that it’s really easy to accidently sit on her. The only reason you can see her in the photo is I took it at night with flash and so there are shadows on her head and she woke up because she was annoyed with the flash. Normally all you can see is the bottom of her feet and her nose. 
Here’s another photo I took while we were napping outside today with the blanket. She loves being outside the sunshine so I try to indulge her as often as possible.

How adorable! I have a Coton de Tulear, which is a cousin to the Maltese.. they look very similar. My guy Flint loves blankies too! So cute!

I had to look twice to see where the blanket ended. She looks totally comfy.
I know, right!?! Most people don’t even see her other leg…or on the photo outside the miss her tail. She blends right in!
That’s her favorite place – wherever my blanket is. We have the same blanket in dark brown and she likes it, but doesn’t love it like this one.

Thanks Katie – she’s my husband’s “baby” which is funny because when I got her he said, “I’m NOT going to like her.” Yea I guess he was technically right – he LOVES her and yes, he’ll even take her for a walk when she has a coat on (something else he said he’d never do!).
She is so cute and looks so comfortable. My daughter has a little dog and she is always cold. She has to keep coats on her so she stays warm. I think I know what grandma is going to buy my little mazie granddog for christmas. A nice big warm fuzzy blanket.
