Look Good Feel Better has been helping women for 23 years, in 24 countries, cope with the changes in their appearance as a result of cancer treatments. Their services are free and available to women in all 50 states.
Local hair and makeup experts provide workshops where lessons are given on hair and make-up applications that can help cancer patients deal with the changes in their skin and hair that are result from their chemo and radiation treatments. They are also give hints and tips on how to style their clothing if necessary because of surgical alterations or weight changes that happen as a result of their treatment.
More than 14,500 volunteers across the country donate more than 225,000 hours to Look Good Feel Better every year.
