Date night with Tacos and the film People Like Us

Enjoying a skinny margarita - date night with People Like Us filmPeople Like Us was released to DVD and Blu-ray on 10/2 and to celebrate, we had date night with tacos! This is a film that’s perfect for girls’ night in, too. It’s a unique love story that left me smiling with tears in my eyes.

The movie stars Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, and Michelle Pfeiffer and it presents a very dysfunctional family that’s able to find their way in this world. Some of the most pivotal scenes were filmed while the lead characters enjoyed some good food at Henry’s Tacos, a restaurant located in Studio City, CA in the film. It’s Sam’s (Cline) favorite place and it’s where he and Banks connect.

We had our own taco night here with skinny margaritas and tostados. Well they would have been except the shells were mostly crushed by the time I got them home so we made a super nacho meal out of them instead.

Check out People Like Us – it’s really heartwarming, the acting is suburb, and the characters very real.
