I have always been a huge fan of Grey’s Anatomy so naturally I was thrilled with ABC released Grey’s Anatomy Season Eight on DVD. Released on September 4th, Season Eight is packed full of all the drama and surgeries we love.
Returning to Seattle Grace for Season Eight are Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins, Kim Raver as Teddy Altman, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery and Sarah Drew as April Kepner.
Grey’s Anatomy Season Eight comes with a total of six DVDs with an extended episode, tons of deleted scenes, hilarious outtakes and a special journey home with Kevin McKidd. McKidd takes us back to his hometown in Scotland and shares his childhood experiences with viewers. This was one of my favorite special features by far. His story is a very personal experience and he performs Scottish songs for us to enjoy.
As for the episodes included, we start off learning that Meredith is in massive trouble for interfering with Derek’s medical trial study. We also pick up with Christina and Owen struggling to work out their marriage after some hard decisions were made. Alex is struggling with his bedside manner and Lexie is now getting friendly with Jackson much to Mark’s dismay. The doctors at Seattle Grace are in and the drama does not slow down. This is an action- and heartfelt-packed season with surprises around every corner.

I’m a huge greys fan!!
I think I can’t watch it because it’s supposed to be in Seattle and they don’t even try to get it right. I spend the whole show saying, “That’s not true!”
I had no idea it’s been around for 8 seasons!

I never really got in to Grey’s (because I was already watching too many other shows). I may have to see if I can catch all the seasons on Netflix.
What a fun book! I love snapping pics of my pets so this would be beneficial for me!

I’ve never seen an episode of Grey’s Anatomy, which is quite surprising since I think Patrick Dempsey is gorgeous!
