9-11 Fallen Firefighters UFA Widow’s and Children’s Fund Info

“There is a saying in Tibetan, 'Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.' No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that's our real disaster.” ― Dalai Lama XIV
I chose this quote for today – it’s about hope, about remembering, about honoring, about peace. May we remember the events that happened on this date 11 years ago. Always. And may we remain hopeful in the face of tragedy.

To the firefighter’s wives especially, as I am one, I pledge to support you now and forever. I’ve made my annual donation  - please donate if you feel inclined.

“Always Remember… Never Forget”

The funds are deposited directly into the Widows’ and Children’s Fund account and distributed directly to the families of the NYC Uniformed Fallen Firefighters.

Donate to The UFA Widow’s and Children’s Fund

My donation is my way of saying “THANK YOU” to the 343 firefighters who died that day in service to their community and to their families who’ve had to make a life without them.
