Mikarose “Bailey” Dress – a great style for plus size women like me!

I am always in the market for cute new dresses; but being a plus-size woman it can sometimes be a struggle to find a dress that is attractive while still being modest. Too often dresses are much too short or too tight for my comfort, so learning about Mikarose.com was an exciting experience.

Mikarose sells cute and stylish clothing without sacrificing modesty. The dresses are extremely comfortable to wear and they offer some very cool styles. I got a chance to shop their site and while I loved many of the dresses the offered, I decided on the ‘Bailey’ dress in the slate color. I loved the fabric - Shell: 95% Viscose, 5% Spandex so it has just a smidgen of give but no clingyness. It’s also available in navy and pink and in sizes XS to XXL.

The dress arrived in the mail quickly. I couldn’t wait to show it off so I decided to wear it to work and needless to say, I received a ton of compliments from my fellow coworkers! I also realized right away that I am severely lacking in my accessory department! This dress lends itself to so many styles and events. It can be dressed up with a necklace and pumps or go sporty by adding a scarf and flats. In the winter add leggings and a great pair of boots.

The dress fit great but I do have to note that I’m a little larger than most in the upstairs (ie., my bust line) so my dress was a little tight in that area, but any most women wouldn’t have this problem. The fabric is fabulous and I love the hang of the dress.

My friend Sybil asked me right away where I got my dress so we sat down and looked at their website. She was impressed with the quality of the designs and the pricing. I am also impressed with the diversity in designs and sizes. The dresses can easily translate between a plus size body type and a petite body type. That’s one of the things I love about this company is the comfort and beauty of the designs and the ability to transform you into a sexy yet modest individual.

I have a couple of favorite dresses on this site that I want to point out. I am a huge fan of Daisy, Anne, Kristy, Riley and Olive. I will have a hard time picking which one to order next! But enough with the Mikarose dresses, they also carry shirts, skirts, and accessories and they carries sizes from XS (size 0-2) to 2XL (size 20) and they ship to the US and Canada!
