Post Goodness Forecast – What’s Your Potential for Goodness?
Post believes that every day gives us the opportunity to create goodness. But they also acknowledge that in our day to day life, we may miss out on opportunities or forget to stop and make a chance for goodness to happen. In fact, they believe that goodness doesn’t just happen, that you need to be mindful of setting a good intention for the day and in doing so, you can help make good things happen.
That’s where PostGoodness.com comes in. It’s a chance for you to post publicly (with your name/location or anonymously) what you’re intending to do for the day to make it better for yourself or someone else. You can declare you’ll be sharing a meal with your family, that you’ll hug someone who needs it, or you’ll stop and smell the flowers on the way to work – whatever form goodness takes for you.
Then Post takes your information plus the forecast for major cities all around the country from bloggers who are sharing what’s going on in their home states and Post is producing a Goodness Forecast. The Goodness Forecast measures the potential for goodness in regions all across the US, based on factors like events going on locally, top news stories, and the current weather conditions. They also factor in long-term influences like the environment and the economy.

Goodness Forecast for Seattle
My Goodness Score: 100! It’s Seafair weekend! Hydroplanes, Blue Angels, and sunshine! It doesn’t get any better than this in Seattle!

But who are these Post Goodness Forecast Ambassadors? Well, I’m one! I’m the Seattle Goodness Forecast expert and three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) I forecast Seattle’s goodness. Currently that’s pretty easy and the today is a score of 100 out of 100. Seattle’s a beautiful place in the summer with fabulous activities and some moderate weather (compared to the rest of the US!).
I hope you’ll check in with your city or check out and follow mine as the summer progresses into fall. I’m hoping since we’ve had a mild summer (until today) that means we’ll have an amazing fall.
Good days start with good intentions. Post yours at PostGoodness.com.
