FREE Kids Craft Activities and THE LORAX Freebies at Home Depot 8/4/12
When you have kids, free activities are a great way to keep them entertained, expose them to new places, people, and skills, and get you out and about. At least they were for me when my kids were little.
Home Depot offers free kids activities the first Saturday of every month between the hours of 9am and 12pm. Kids keep their crafts plus a free Kids Workshop Apron, a commemorative pin, and a certificate of achievement!
This weekend Home Depot locations nationwide, have teamed up with EPA’s ENERGY STAR® and Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax movie for a great event for children ages 5-12. Not only will they make a Cork Bulletin Board which will teach them about tool safety, they’ll have a chance to paint and embellish their project and make it their own.
In addition to the bulletin board project, kids will receive Lorax-inspired activity sheets, Lorax create-you-own mustache kits, and Lorax sticker sheets. Plus a full-size Lorax poster will be on hand so you can take your kids’ photo with their favorite character!
