New York Style Bagel Crisps – Delicious and Easy Snacks or Appetizers
I recently had the chance to try out two new snacks – New York Style Bagel Crisps – in mini BBQ and original Roasted Garlic and I have to tell you, they were delicious! I tried the BBQ first and they were a lot like eating BBQ potato chips which I love, but they weren’t greasy and had a great crunch. Those I devoured and never got a chance to try with a dip or spread, they were fabulous on their own.
I used some self-restraint with the second package, the Roasted Garlic, which had a strong buttery/garlic flavor. They were almost too strong on their own and I definitely would not be kissing anyone after eating them; however, when paired with a topping they were definitely a hit! First I tried them topped with a scoop of Pico de Gallo which had just a hint of garlic in it (Recipe: Quick, Easy and Mild Fresh Pico de Gallo). The combination resulted in a light and refreshing snack that was super crunchy and included healthy vegetables and no added fat. Then I had them with plain whipped cream cheese and it really brought out all the goodness in them.
Which did I like best? BOTH. Which would I serve at a party? The Roasted Garlic flavor because it’s so versatile. Which would I hoard for myself? The BBQ! Plus when compared to BBQ potato chips (for comparison purposes Lays BBQ) they’re lower in fat and calories!

Yummy!
I saw some of these in the grocery store. Now sure how I’d like since I don’t care too much crunchy foods. I may try these out soon.
