All three of the men in my life wear a uniform; I never realized that until just now. One is a fire fighter, one a park ranger, and the third an airline customer service agent. What they all have in common is they have to wear black work shoes or boots with their uniform and finding comfortable, affordable, and durable black work boots and men’s slip-resistant footwear isn’t easy. We usually end up buying them at an overpriced local uniform store.

Ordering from Shoes for Crews is easy. I used their Shoe Finder to select gender, by type, then color, price range, and size which gave me a list of boots and shoes to fit my son’s needs. He settled on the Ranger bootsbecause they’re water and slip resistant. They also have a polycarbonate safety toe and puncture resistant footbed. Since the toe can’t be polished, these can only be used as his back-up boots and hiking boots, but they’re perfect for that. They do have white stitching which is a shame because most uniform requirements require all-black, but I’m guessing shoe polish will take care of the white stitching. The boots are amazingly lightweight which is exactly what we were looking for, true to size, and very comfortable!
