PROBAR makes some of my favorite healthy snack bars and I’ve become a huge fan of their HALO™ treats. I was thrilled to find out that they’ve released a new snack treat and this time it’s a fruit-based bar that’s healthy and delicious! But what makes these new fruitition® Snack Treats so good? The ingredients! They’re all are certified organic and non-GMO! And for those with gluten intolerance, rejoice because these treats are certified gluten-free!
Each bar is a mere 160 calories of superfood and they provide one full serving of fruit, 4 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of fat in each vegan snack. You’ll find dates, chia seeds, cashew, oats and more as the base recipe and then fabulous chunks of real fruit are added in. Choose from Blueberry, Cherry, Cran-Raspberry, Peach, Lemon, Strawberry, and Chocolate Orange.

So, they’re made from fabulous ingredients including and their certified gluten-free, but do they taste good? Well, that’s easy, HECK YA! The texture is soft and gooey and the bits of fruit are so fresh and sweet. My favorite is the lemon – a bit like a lemon oatmeal cookie. The lemon is fresh and tart and indescribably good. I’m also a huge fan of the peach which is surprising because I’ve never been a fan of anything peach flavored. But I realized that’s the issue. Peach “flavored” which is what most products are. These are REAL peaches and it’s so very different and so ridiculously good. My husband likes them all and he loves that he can throw them in his pack when he goes to his wildland firefighting training – it’s great fuel, easy to eat, and they still taste great after being smashed in his pack.

Character? I thought the video was a sweet guy talking about Probars? I was intrigued by the fact that they included Chia seeds – which I have heard are a great immunity boost in themselves. I would be psyched to try these out with my little gang of picky eaters.
