Fashion: Full Figure Bras Can Be Comfortable and Affordable!

How do you start a post about a very private body part that’s out there for the entire world to see? Yes, my breasts. I have more than any one woman needs or wants and it’s a constant source of irritation for me – literally. Finding a bra that’s comfortable when you’re an F-cup is nearly impossible and if you do, it’s likely from a specialty store where the prices start at $75. Call me cheap, but that’s a lot of money for something my husband is just going to ruin in the washer.

So color me tickled pink when I found out about the Leading Lady e-boutique!  It’s an online specialty store for both full-figure bras as well as nursing bras. Their size range is staggering and the prices affordable!

I was able to find several choices from leisure and sleeping styles I was interested in.  My first choice was a fabulous Leading Lady’s Crossover Front Closure Racer Back Leisure Bra.  When it arrived I was thrilled to finally have a full-figure bra that looked dainty and petite.  I loved the color, the style, and nearly everything about it except that in addition to having, as my sister dubbed them, “GINORMOUS” breasts, I’m tall and there just wasn’t enough bra strap length for me.  I very sadly had to let this great looking bra go.

So with the help of their website I chose a second bra, a cotton front closure leisure bra in a cup larger size and it turned out to be fabulous. Sure, it’s bulkier than the first, but it has the extra strap length I need.  I do have some turning of the band and the bottom, ie. it rolls, so I may try going up a band size because yes, I love it so much that I’m buying a few more. Would I wear these outside of the house? No, they’re for minimal support and coverage, but there are plenty of underwire styles I’ll be checking out soon for everyday wear.
