Safeway Holiday Recipe and Decor Ideas and Tips

Safeway Holiday Inspiration Help

Safeway is one of two home delivery stores I make use of year round; but they’re especially helpful during the holidays.  I shop from home and use delivery for several reasons.  The first is convenience – I can check my refrigerator and cupboards for items before ordering to avoid having duplicates (or worse triplicates) of items.   I can also shop their site with a recipe or even use their site to find recipes!  It makes meal planning so much easier.  Plus I don’t over spend and can keep track of my food budget so much easier.

Safeway 2-hr turkey recipeDuring the holidays Safeway goes even further.  They’ve upped the ante with a webpage full of holiday help!  Everything from recipes to table decor that includes simple crafts  you can make with your kids to decorate your table, to wine suggestions that pair well with whatever you’re serving.  The page is beautiful and it’s so inspirational that it’s gotten me in the mood to think about decorating and baking.  I also need to plan a game night party here at our house soon, so I’ll be trying out some of their appetizer and beverage recipes on my family.

For you smart phone owners, there’s a mobile version so you can view the site before you visit (but please, not while you’re driving) and access the holiday tips and recipes as well.  And if you own an iPhone, download the Safeway Chef Assistant app which features the Safeway exclusive 2-Hour Turkey Recipe™ – you’ll access the step-by-step instructions on how to prepare a fully cooked, moist and delicious turkey in 2 hours or less. You can also use the app to keep track of the ingredients and cooking tools you need to shop for and as a timer to remind you of important time and temp checks.
