I love butterflies. There’s something so delicate and beautiful about them. Their markings are so intricate and they’re a bug and yet I encourage them to come to my yard. This is a photo I took at Disneyland about a year ago and since then, I’ve planted a butterfly bush just like this one in my yard….I love it and just today it’s finally blooming and I saw the first butterfly on it…it makes me so happy!

I also love Maya Angelou. Her quiet demeanor reminds me of a butterfly – soft, intricate , and beautiful.
