Kraft Foods Outstandwich Sweepstakes Mini Road Trip

It’s summer and that means lots of families are travelling and food can take a chunk out of any family’s budget. One way to soften that blow is to make-and-take your meals with you and often that means a sandwich. Sure you could do the old standby, peanut butter and jelly, but why not go all out?

Kraft is celebrating the annual family vacation with a tour of the country’s favorite regional sandwich recipes with a virtual road trip called the “Outstandwich Road Trip!” As part of the celebration, Kraft created and is sharing amazing recipes for the entire US. For my home state, Washington, they’ve created an Orchard Harvest Turkey Sandwich highlighting our best-known crop, the Washington Apple. For NYC, the homestate of our own Nicole, they’ve created a Deli Salami Sub sandwich a nod to the fabulous hand-carved deli meat sandwiches in New York.
