Winnie the Pooh Notes – New Video Clip and Meet the Characters

Winnie the Pooh MovieYesterday “Winnie the Pooh” the movie opened in theaters nationwide and if you went to see it, you now know what I know – it’s fabulous!  I love seeing the reviews from parents and their kids on Twitter and Facebook and every one I’ve read so far found the movie to be charming, sweet, and completely family-friendly.  All things that I agree with!

If you haven’t made a date to see the new “Winnie the Pooh” movie yet, and you’re still on the fence about whether you should, check out this fun clip below.  My favorite scene in the movie comes near the end of the clip….Pooh suffers a small malfunction.  It made me smile when I saw it for the first time in the theater and still does every time I watch this clip.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

Walt Disney Animation Studios returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with the first big-screen Pooh adventure from Disney animation in more than 35 years. With the timeless charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo—and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail.  “Ever have one of those days where you just can’t win, Eeyore?” asks Pooh.  Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some honey. Inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art style, the U.S. release date was July 15, 2011.

  1. Love Winnie the Pooh….even at my age! Now I’ve got to find a kid to take with me to see it!

I saw it without kids and loved it, but there’s nothing like a little one snuggled up in your lap at the movies.
      Enjoy!
