The New York City fireworks over the East Vill...

I’m not sure why I started collecting these, we don’t throw a 4th of July party, but I love the look and one of these days we just might.  I’ve always felt like it was my holiday because my birthday is two days after so when we have done a party, it’s usually in a patriotic theme.  We do put out our flag, and maybe that’s why I feel close the the holiday.

I favor things that aren’t full of artificial color and flavors, I just think our kids’ bodies are inundated by chemicals from birth and when naturally good food is available, especially in-season fruits and vegetables, I say go for them!

My favorite decorating and food ideas gleaned with Pinterest.com from around the web.  Not sure what Pinterest is?  Here’s a quick explanation of what Pinterest is and how it can be used and some of my favorite quotes I’ve collected and stored there.
