Family Movie Night – Field of Vision – June 11 8pm ET/7pm CT

Field of Vision Movie Still - reprinted with permissionI love movies and as a family, there was nothing better than saving the weekends for family movie night. Yes there was usually a pizza involved and very often a popcorn chaser.  There was also lots of giggling, because as a family we loved silly comedies.

Even when the boys were teens, they’d sometimes stay home with us rather than go hang with friends. It was an easy way to relax and reconnect as a family. And when a movie can add to the conversation, that’s even better.

To help other families discover their own Family Movie Night, Proctor and Gamble and WalMart have sponsored June 11th night on NBC.  The movie, “Field of Vision” is a mystery that teaches the importance of doing what’s right, even if it’s not what you want to do.  The mystery unfolds in film footage captured on an old, and non-functional video camera.  As the camera reveals things that no one in town knows, the characters are suddenly faced with what to do with the information.

I think it’s great that they’re airing original, family-friendly movie in prime time.  It’s so hard to find appropriate things for kids and families to watch together.
