Paperspring Offers a New Spin on the Traditional Personalized Greeting Card

Paperspring Personalized Greeting Cards and Stationery

I love personalized cards. If I’m going to send a card, I want it to be one that the receiver may hang on to and enjoy,  and not immediately toss in the trash.  Cards are expensive so I want the most out of them!  I’m not always good about sending out personal holiday cards any more; but I always remember the vendors, who help make my business a success, by sending them a card and a gift.

I love my DNA Business Holiday Greeting Cards from Paperspring.com

This year I had the fun of shopping at Paperspring for my holiday cards. Paperspring is a Los Angeles based online retailer that not only offers amazing contemporary personalized cards and stationery, they do it in an eco-friendly manner and that means a lot to me!  All of their matte cards are printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled thick cardstock.  Even the glossy cards use some recycled and post consumer paper.

They have a fun website where they feature greeting cards for holidays and birthdays as well as Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day and other important holidays. They also have amazing baby & bridal shower invitations, thank you cards, party invitations and personalized stationery.  But what really sets them apart is their Digital Name Art™ (DNA) option.  Their DNA technology lets you spell out either your name or your recipient’s name using digital images. I loved this feature and it was exactly what I was looking for.

I made several personalized cards for my business vendors where their name is featured on the front of the card made out of cookies. I’ll be sending them cookies, hot chocolate, and coffee to complete the gift.  I also made some generic holiday cards with our name on them so that this year I’ll be able to send cards to those who send to us.  I also purchased special cards for my oldest son’s 25th birthday next month, my mom’s 72nd birthday in December, and my youngest son’s college graduation in December.  I love being able to plan ahead and purchase the cards to have on hand for their special days.  I also enjoyed finding cards that were perfect for each.  For my quilter mom, a card that appears to have her name quilted on it, for my world traveler, a beach, and for my soon-to-be graduated, a stadium full of people cheering his name.  I also purchased a Valentine’s Day card for the hubby.  We don’t usually do anything for Valentine’s, preferring to treat each other well every day, but this is our 30th one together so I purchased a card to note it.

I'm ready for all of our big events for the next few months - birthday, graduation & Valentine's Day

Ordering was super easy and I loved that I could see exactly what the cards would look like with my personalization. The cards arrived beautifully packaged in about 4 days and looked exactly like their online proofs (The cards in the graphic above are tiny thumbnails for the online proofs).  The cards were shipped flat with envelopes (I purchased a few extra for $1 in case of errors on my part), tied with a ribbon and shrink wrapped in plastic so they arrived in perfect condition.  I just folded the cards and they’re ready to slip into the envelopes..  The cards are amazing quality.  These are professionally printed in color on heavyweight cardstock.  I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality.

The cards are about $2.95 each with price breaks as you purchase more of the same card. So if you were to buy 100 of the same card, the cost per card goes down to $1.79 each.  For the quality of the cards, this is an outstanding price, especially for customized printing.  I only purchased greeting cards, so I can’t speak to the exact quality of the other products, but I’ll assume they’re just as fabulous.
